Description:Because we are all made in the image of God, we are able to contain God’s Holy Spirit- to be in this world but with God, simultaneously. In Genesis 1:26-28, God talks about the dominion we have here on earth. We are to be like His ambassadors, to be used by Him to bring new people into His kingdom. He wants space in the hearts and minds of His people. We must not worry only about ourselves, and what we need, but seek first the kingdom of God and everything else will be added unto it.

Description:“When you have to confess to the ones you’ve sinned against, it’s extremely difficult”. Because we are prideful humans, we don’t want to admit we aren’t perfect. Redemption is available to all, but you have to take the steps to get there- Faith, confession and repentance.

Description:Jesus’ death and resurrection was not only to atone for our sins, it was so he could then descend, by His Spirit and be with all of us. When Jesus said, “It is finished” he made a new covenant for us. Because of the Holy Spirit, we can all now be in the presence of God. We need to open ourselves up to the resurrection power that filled Peter in the book of Acts. When we open our bibles, we should read it like Jesus is there with us.

Description:We are not to worship created things; rather we are to worship the creator God. Our idols may be things that are truly a gift from God, like your spouse or children. When they are placed higher than The Lord, they can only be identified as idols. The more we seek satisfaction from these things, the more dissatisfied we become. Instead, we are to pray for God to be our all-in-all, not for things to satisfy our desires.

Description:There is a process that we experience over and over again. It begins when we accept Christ as Lord. Over time, through circumstances, we work out our salvation with fear and trembling. It takes a lifetime to fully understand and find the power of making Christ our King. Salvation is to know and grow in our relationship with God, be submitted to Him, and with His help, overcome the temptation of sin. Often, when we come to God in prayer, He doesn’t change the circumstances, He changes us first.

Description:We exist to submit to Jesus and glorify Him. Our belief in his work on the cross has given us the right relationship to boldly go the throne of God. Our goal is to establish His kingdom and authority in the hearts and minds of the people we are in community with.
