Who We Are

Who we are is really less about the style of our service, the roast of our coffee (french),
or how many locations we have met in (3), and more about the core values that dictate how our church communicates with God, our community and each other.

1. Evangelism
We value the God-given commission to reach every nation for Jesus Christ.

2. Diversity
We are an open community of believers and value being a multi-ethnic, multi-generational, and multi-cultural, yet unified in our faith and beliefs.

3. Authenticity
We value truth, transparency and honesty among our community - especially in areas of our own spirituality.

4. People
We value every individual and recognize their great worth to God as his children.

5. Families
We value families and are committed to strengthening and protecting their
relationships and well-being.

6. Community
We value the physical, material, and spiritual health of our local community.

7. Transformation
We value the miraculous conversion and change that takes place when individuals and
communities continually surrender their lives to Christ.

8. Church
We greatly value the universal Body of Christ, considering it a miraculous manifestation
of God's grace that is unified across denominational and cultural lines.

Jessica Diers

I was drawn to Monterey Church after hearing about this "cool church" from a friend of mine who had only been attending for two weeks!

I am now serving in the children's department and with setup and teardown after the service.

God has given me great friends at this church that has become my family!
